The Latest Update on TikTok Search Ads Campaigns
TikTok has introduced an exciting new way for brands to reach their target audience with the updated version of its Search Ads campaigns. This new feature allows advertisers to showcase their promotions to users who are actively searching within the app.
With this update, Search ads are now available for both Traffic and Web Conversion objectives. Advertisers can also select relevant keywords for their campaigns, giving them more control over the placement of their ads within search results.
The major enhancement in TikTok’s updated Search Ads is the increased advertiser control in placement, which was not possible with the previous version.

Previously, TikTok had introduced a “Search Ads Toggle” in ad campaigns, which allowed ads to be displayed in related search queries but lacked the option to target specific keywords.
With the updated Search Ads, advertisers have full control over how their content appears in TikTok search results, ensuring that the right creative is delivered to the right users.
According to TikTok, 57% of users utilize TikTok’s search functionality, and 23% search for something within 30 seconds of opening the app. Brands that run Search Ads in addition to In-Feed Ads witness a 20% increase in conversions on average.

TikTok’s system also recommend keywords for targeting based on entered terms, making it easier for advertisers to reach their desired audience.
As TikTok positions itself as an e-commerce platform, the updated Search Ads can be a valuable option for brands looking to increase their visibility and engagement with users.
