Discover the EvilVideo Vulnerability: Attackers Exploit Telegram to Share Malicious Android Payloads

ESET researchers recently uncovered a dangerous zero-day exploit called EvilVideo that was up for sale on the dark web. This exploit targeted the Telegram app for Android, allowing attackers to distribute malicious files disguised as innocent videos. After ESET informed Telegram of the vulnerability, the app was promptly updated on July 11th, 2024.
