According to TikTok, “The Latin community has always been a powerhouse of creativity, resilience, and culture – cultivating spaces for people to celebrate their heritage while contributing to global trends on TikTok. We continue to be inspired by our Visionary #CasaTikTok community and we’re honored to provide a space where diverse voices come together to represent and celebrate Latin culture.”
Firstly, TikTok has introduced its inaugural Latin Heritage Month Visionary Voices list, spotlighting a diverse range of Latin creators across various categories.
A new #CasaTikTok page within the app will showcase these creators, along with Latin-owned businesses, musicians, and more.
TikTok is also calling out to other Latin creators to join its #CasaTikTok creator community program, offering access to enhanced educational resources, events, and webinars to elevate their content on the platform.
The platform will be featuring Latin music playlists curated by honoree @rauwalejandro and @manuelturizoz, and spotlighting Latin-owned businesses for shopping within the app. Additionally, TikTok is hosting an #ShopLatinOwned Creator Mixer event to bring Latin-owned brands together in a live setting.
TikTok is determined to showcase the diverse contributions of various communities on its platform, emphasizing the importance of amplifying these voices and providing value to minority groups.
