Leaders and employees alike should constantly reassess how time is utilized and strive for enhanced productivity levels.

While it may be exhausting to continually refine and adjust our work methods, change is essential for growth, and marketers are particularly adept at navigating through changes.

Having experienced various work setups throughout my career, including as a remote enthusiast and author, I have found remote work to be the most conducive for my productivity and quality of life. But is this preference common among marketers? Where do other marketers find themselves most productive?

To delve into this topic, I conducted a survey involving over 100 marketers to gather insights on their productivity and happiness levels while working in an office versus at home.

Remote, Hybrid, In-Office: The Marketing Landscape Today

Today, millions of marketers worldwide are engaged in their work using three primary organizational models.

how do you currently work

Fully In-Office Teams

The traditional in-office team setup, while predominant in the past, has evolved significantly. Monitoring has shown that employees are not necessarily at their desks for the entire workday, leading some companies to adapt to this changing dynamic.

Prevalence: Only 22% of surveyed marketers reported always working in the office.

Hybrid (Flexible) Teams

Hybrid teams offer a blend of remote and in-office work, providing employees with flexibility in how they structure their workweek.

Prevalence: 49% of marketers in the survey work in a hybrid model.

Fully Remote Teams

Remote teams operate primarily from different locations, emphasizing efficient technology-driven collaboration.

Prevalence: 29% of respondents always work remotely.
