Are you someone who needs everything in one place? Do you find it frustrating when things are messy and unorganized? If so, then you probably shared my sentiments about the old Photos app. Before the recent update, the app was cluttered with tabs, making it difficult to find specific albums or keep things organized.

Now, with the new update, the Photos app has undergone a remarkable transformation. While some may argue that it’s more complex, I believe that its customizability is what sets it apart. All your content is neatly displayed on one screen – a single scroll downward reveals your entire camera roll, while scrolling up brings up your albums, collections, people, and more. You have the power to customize this layout by selecting “Customize and Reorder” at the bottom of the app.

A standout feature in this update is the addition of “Recent days,” a section that makes it easier to keep track of daily content. Located near your albums, this feature conveniently gathers all the photos you took on a particular day (except for screenshots) in one place.

For instance, during the last Apple launch event, my phone was inundated with a mix of content and screenshots. Thanks to this new feature, I can simply click on the date and sift through the event photos without being distracted by irrelevant screenshots.

By utilizing the customization options, you can prioritize this collection or any other categories that help you stay organized. This way, you can easily access content from a specific day without the need to scroll through endless photos. The update aims to provide a seamless experience for users who value organization and efficiency.
