Originally launched in June, Reader was limited to the US, UK, and Canada. However, recent updates have made the app accessible in various other countries, offering support for languages such as Portuguese, Spanish, French, Hindi, German, Japanese, Arabic, Korean, Italian, Tamil, and Swedish, as reported by TechCrunch.

The latest version of the app is powered by ElevenLabs’ cutting-edge Turbo 2.5 model, boasting higher quality and lower latency in conversational artificial intelligence (AI). This technology enhancement has resulted in a 25% increase in speed for English text-to-speech, triple the speed for Hindi, French, Spanish, Mandarin, and 27 other languages, and the addition of support for Vietnamese, Hungarian, and Norwegian.

While Reader was initially exclusive to iOS, ElevenLabs has now launched an Android version of the app. Users can enjoy a complimentary three-month trial period before choosing from a variety of plans, ranging from the free version with 10,000 credits per month to the Pro version at $99 per month with 500,000 credits monthly.
