ESET researchers recently unveiled a detailed analysis showcasing the escalating detections of AceCryptor. This cryptor-as-a-service (CaaS) has become a popular tool for cybercriminals seeking to evade security measures. Notably, attackers distributing the Rescoms remote access tool (RAT) have also adopted AceCryptor, indicating a shift in its utilization patterns in recent times. These malicious campaigns targeted companies across multiple European countries.
