Bluefors has recently unveiled its newly expanded production facilities in Syracuse, New York, marking a significant milestone in the manufacturing of Cryomech-powered cryocoolers and dilution refrigerators in the USA. This strategic expansion comes in response to the surging demand for cryogenic systems crucial for advancing quantum technologies, such as quantum computing and sensing, amidst a projected global market upsurge.
CEO Jonas Geust emphasized the significance of this expansion, positioning Bluefors as the leading producer of dilution refrigerators in the United States. This expansion, adding over 35,000 square feet of space, is set to nearly double the production capacity for cryocoolers, indispensable for maintaining the ultra-low temperatures required for operating quantum chips.
Alongside the manufacturing prowess, Bluefors has also inaugurated a dedicated spare parts hub in Syracuse to enhance service efficiency and delivery speed for customers across North America.
